Castlevania LOI boxy status effects
#1
While playing Castlevania: Lament of Innocence, I noticed that any time I get a status effect, perfect block, go through a door (blur animation), or encounter enemies that turn into a puddle of blood after death, turn red to attack, or come from shadows, the characters themselves aren't colored, rather, they get a bunch of boxes around them instead. As an example, I have attached a screen capture. I looked and can't seem to find a fix for it anywhere. Is it just in the file coding or is there a way to remedy the issue. Thanks for you help!!!

If you made your ISO from your original DVD it's the same.

I didn't make the IOS, it was a download. Yes I do own an original copy of the game, but I'm currently unable to access my copy. The file name says US, so I'm going to assume its NTSC. No gamefixes are enabled, and sure:
