Change default snapshot format?
#1
It appears that the default image file format for snapshots is BMP.

BMP files are absurdly large.

I'd like to change the default snapshot file format to something else.

The wiki mentions that with the ZeroGS plugin you can change it, but it appears that it has been deprecated for quite some time, since I don't see it anywhere within PCSX2.

I would not like to manually change the file format, nor to use a third party program to take snapshots. The snapshot feature is in PCSX2 to be used, after all. If not, it should be removed altogether. I am saying this because all the relevant threads I found regarding this topic provide these workarounds.

Snapshots aren't compressed. If you want to use compressed as png u can use 3rd party software. I use lightshot for that purpose.
