Cheat file help please and Hello

Hi all new user here and was hoping to get some help with a cheat file.

I've been looking at some guides and such to get cheats to work with games
and I can't seem to get it to work

The game I'm trying to get it to work on is Mortal Kombat shaolin monks I am using omniconvert to convert action replay max codes to raw and the structing the file to look like this.

File name 8166E45F.pnach and saved in the cheats folder

gametitle=Mortal Kombat - Shaolin Monks (PAL-Unk) [SLES-53524]
comment=No Comment
//Kitana as P1
patch=1,EE,00C2974C ,extended,00000059


When I load the game it is saying it is loading 1 cheat but it's not working.

In the "== Player 1 - Spiele als... Code ==" section of Action Replay Codes (UK), there are two cheats about Kitana.

Code:

== Player 1 - Spiele als... Code ==
...
Kitana
3C551D74 1456E766
...
Kitana
3C551D74 1456E76E

These are Action Replay codes and can be decrypt using Omniconvert like below.

Omniconvert settings:
Input -> Action Replay -> Version 1
Output -> Unencrypted -> Standard

Raw codes are:

Kitana
00C29A4C 00000041

Kitana
00C29A4C 00000059

Try either, or combine the address of your code with the data of first one.
00C2974C 00000041


Also, In order to convert raw codes to pnach format, there is a handy tool PCSX2CE and read Step 6 of this guide A simplistic guide to pnach files.

it seems to me that there is a space before ',extended' in the address field. Can this harm the cheats?
