Cheats are properly converted and loaded but will not work
#1
So I've been trying all night to try to make this work. I'm stuck on the game and just want to beat it already (The game is Castlevania: Lament of Innocence). I found a .pnach online that is properly converted I believe, and the emulator does load the cheats in, but nothing happens in the game. I tried save states, I tried loading from MC, I even tried a fresh save, nothing has been working. I also need to note that the game keeps searching for a different CRC.

"(SYSTEM.CNF) Detected PS2 Disc = cdrom0:\SLUS_207.33;1
(SYSTEM.CNF) Software version = 1.00
(SYSTEM.CNF) Disc region type = NTSC
ELF (cdrom0:\SLUS_207.33;1) Game CRC = 0x96A1AA9B, EntryPoint = 0x00400008
(SYSTEM.CNF) Detected PS2 Disc = cdrom0:\SLUS_207.33;1
(SYSTEM.CNF) Software version = 1.00
(SYSTEM.CNF) Disc region type = NTSC"

Everywhere I look, it says the CRC is "28270F7D". I don't know what's happening and how to fix it. Please help me.
Here's the .pnach I found online.
.pnach   96A1AA9B.pnach (Size: 2,62 KB / Downloads: 92)

Use the GS Lookup one for your PNACH names.

The crc changes when some kind of editing was done to the game image
When you try to run the game from the original disk,do you still have the same crc
