Cheats not working in DDR Supernova

I tried adding in Gameshark codes for this game via the patch browser but they crashed pcsx2, even one at a time. I also tried creating a pnach file with Codebreaker codes but those too crashed pcsx2 as soon as it tried loading the game. And yes, I've tried only having one code on at a time and even just having the master code enabled.
