It's been my dream to play my favorite childhood game: Skygunner But every time i play it, it always bogs down (really slow motion) in certain moments at cut scenes and during game play.
I've tried many times to fix the problem myself but it makes little to no difference so I'm clearly doing something wrong.
I do not know if its my computers fault or the emulators fault. I play the game from and ISO.
I guess what I'm really asking for is what settings do i put and what build should i be using for this specific game. i know little to nothing about how to get the best performance
here are my specs, if you have any questions AT ALL I will answer them as quickly and best I can.
Operating System Windows 10 64-bit CPU Intel Core i7 3770
RAM 14GB DDR3 Motherboard ASRock Z77 Extreme4 Graphics ASUS VS228 (1920x1080@60Hz) ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 8GB ROG STRIX OC Edition
Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.
Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

I just started the game, played until i ran into the problem, waited for it to stop then closed the emulator.

try using open gl.. may net you a few frames... what does your gs and ee % look like in the title bar during the slowdowns?
While your card should support 8x in most everything, drop it down to 4x for testing. Also drop AA down to something less .. intense, like 2x for testing (or even off) and see what happens.
What frame rates are you usually seeing, and what does it drop to?

I tried these setting and made no difference. It still lags like hell. I made a video showing the settings and with time stamps showing when and how bad the notable lag accures. (low-key wanna kms, i forgot to switch audio device when recording so there is no audio. whoops lol)
Turn on MTVU and 8 bit textures also set your resolution lower if you don't want to keep dropping into the 40's when your EE spikes to 100% like it does during those 2 time stamps.
This game is deceptively resource heavy (much much much more then Ace combat 5\0)
