for xpad compilation

Included and libraries path of DirectX SDK must be placed at peak each in VC++ Directories.

So that directx files from DirectX SDK will take priority and not use those VC++ bundled obsolete.

for x64 on Windows
Target platform of x64 in VC++ is not available for PCSX2 for now. Guys are mandatory to compile x86 production.

I have DirectX SDK from 2008, and always compiled GSDX fine, but now it needs d3d11.h... how can I update DX SDK without downloading 500mb+ again?

you can't do it like that Smile (you'll just have to uninstall your current DX Sdk and then download the latest (it'll have all the changes anyways Tongue) Smile)

Did somebody tried to compiling it with Intel Compiler? Could probably speed up things a bit, afaik Intel Compiler binaries was usually faster than a MSVC. I've tried it yesterday, but it gets error at some place. Don't have it at hand now to post exact error.
Btw intel compiler is avalable from their site for 30 day trial, it installs as an MSVC addon.

Days ago. The only one I can compile by ICC is ZeroGS with approx 25 errors while compiling, However it worked on the game I tested, about 5 FPS faster than the one compiled by VC++.

Perhaps one can build all by modifying sources of PCSX2 or something. Since I am not a programmer I have no idea. The only thing I can do is following instructions somewhere.
