Are PS2 ISOs able to be compressed into a format that can be read by PCSX2 and don't sacrifice quality or speed? If so, what format?

As of 1.7.0 dev builds, CHD and CSO are supported.

Which one do you recommend, and are they lossless? No loss of quality/speed when run in the emulator?

CSO for dvds, CHD for CDs.
Won't lose anything In terms of performance
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

Dvd is the majority. Pro for CHD is you can compress from cue/bin with multiple audio files and vice-versa
