I bought a new laptop recently due to my old one decaying.
My version is PCSX 1.4.0. I managed to play DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3 locked at 60-65fps after setting the GS to match my graphic driver and DirectX11, and, outside of PCSX2, I managed to play Battlefield: Bad Company 2 at 55-60fps at medium settings just fine, without ever experiencing remotely any frame drops. However, after I decided to download God of War 2, I have been experiencing some problems with it.
The cutscenes are smooth and locked at 55 to 60 fps, but whenever I start to actually play it, it drops to 35 or so fps. At first I thought it was because I had left 10+ tabs open on Google, but closing all of them didn't increase the fps in the slightest. I'd like to know what configurations I could use to get around this, and if my specs are good enough to comfortably run the majority of PS2 games:
Intel HD Graphics 620
intel® core i3-7020u cpu @ 2.30ghz
4GB Ram
