Configuration help request.

AMD Athlon 64 dual-core.
Nvidia GeForce 8500 GT.
8 Gigs of RAM.
Windows XP 64-bit.

I'm trying to run Final Fantasy X. I can get it so it get's me past the opening cutscene, but when I start talking to people the voices don't sound, the name screen doesn't pop up, and the camera angles don't change.

That's on 0.9.1 though, on 0.9.6 I can't even get the emulator to run. So could someone help me with setup. (I have read through the Configuration guide, it didn't help me.)

1 - use latest beta
2 - what error do you get exactly ? what does the emulog show ?

The error I'm getting is just the standard windows "[program] has encountered an error and needs to close."

Checking the output windows gives me this:

creating zerogs
Creating effects
Creating extra effects

You are not using the latest beta yet, try that first.

Oh and use GSdx instead of zerogs as graphics plugin.
