yup, it would really help to know which games you tried, sirkova. did the vu cycle stealing help? also try setting your gsdx to native.

The emu depends only on your CPU - if game running to slow, you better try to change it or overclock.

The original PS2 may not have crazy good parts on it, but you arent playing on the PS2 you are paying on an emulator of a PS2
Your CPU could be the problem as an athlon x2 2.7GHz isnt that great and the recommended cpu is an intel core2duo 3.2GHz and in that case there may not be much you can do. You should try the "native" check in GSdx or setting the "vu cycle stealing" speedhack to the max.

Could it be my GFX card? I thought it would be good to run PS2 games atleast
