Crysis is mostly GPU intensive, PCSX2 is CPU intensive (and pretty much CPU intensive). Your computer isn`t weak in general - it`s just too weak for PCSX2. Huh

I'll try with no sound, and i'll tell you (i can read subtitles ^^)

Your processor is weak for playing MGS3 with PCSX2 and no matter how you protest - it's true. FFX should work fine.

So his cpu is not a C2D 8400 overclocked to +4.0Ghz big deal, his cpu is still much better than yours isn't it!? He probably can overclock it much higher, have SSE4.1 that helps a lot when games need EE and VU Extra + Preserve and he can use GSdx software with 3 threads.
C2D E6550 @ 2333 Mhz oc 3010 Mhz vcore 1.2750v | HD2600XT | P5KC | 1 + 1 GB G.Skill 6400HK 860 4.4.3.5
