Configuring mouse for analog stick?
#1
Im playing ffx and i can't use lulu's overdrive (which requires either the left or right analog stick). I found a few threads on here that you can confugre lilypad to use the mouse for the analog stick you want but they dont give good instructions on how to do that (some of them dont have any instructions at all).

Make sure the mouse api in Lilypad is the recommended (or at least not disabled) then just click the button you want to bind to your mouse and set it, in this case the right analog stick.

Twinpad's combo function could also help for lulu's overdrive, in fact it may work better:

What module? What error do you get? Did you check the thread and see if anyone had the same error?

idk it says "the module "dx8vb.dll" failed to load

Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .dll files

the specified module could not be found.

Its in the systemwow64 one because i have x64 bit.

I did make use of the search feature i read every single complaint on that thread trying to see if anyone found a way to resolve it. I ran command prompt as administrator, i put it in the syswow64 folder, i xtracted the dx8vb files into the plugins folder and i typed in "resvr32.exe dx8vb.dll" (without the quotes) and i tried that other way (regsvr32 C:\windows\syswow64\dx8vb.dll)
it just keeps throwing up "the module "dx8vb.dll" failed to load

Am i one of the people who it wont work for?

Well i solved one issue...when i put the file in the syswow64 folder it somehow ended up in the da-dk folder. But now it loads but i get that other error about how it has loaded but the call to DLLregisterserver failed with error code 0x80070005, i remember seeing this in the other thread ill go check it out.

Alright I fixed it. Thank you for your help! Smile))
