Configuring ps3 controller help please

my controller comes up on device diagnostics, but when i try to configure it, it wont work??? p.s. i didnt download any drivers to use the controller. it installed as soon as i plugged it in. please help

There are some instructions in using the controller in the lilypad thread in the first post, try following them and ask then if you still have a problem.

I'm using motionjoy drivers. Works fine and if you select the XBOX360 controller emulator, you can use xpad plugin without configure anything.
