Connecting DS3 to PCSX2

Hello  there, i want to connect my ds3 to pcsx2 but i realy dont know how i should proceed after installing and setting up the scp driver so i would like some pointers/help on how i should do it because google is an uncooperative ***** and points me to threads that i cannot for the life of me understand, pls keep it a bit simple as my only experience with emulation so far is ppsspp and i dont think it caounts

best would be to use steam and set pcsx2 into it a non-steam app.
