Controller Config & DX ESA FW Update

So, whenever I try setting keys for my PS3 controller, they key ends up immediately being controlled by 'Fan Speed'. I can get around it by immediately setting keys, but not fast enough for the analog controls. Please help.

On PCSX2: config > controller > plugin settings > general tab:
Uncheck DirectInput
Uncheck Monitor when in background.

You should now be able to map your buttons without an issue.
