Controller Pad not working - test fine?

Hello.

I am trying to play Gradius V on PCSX2 1.4.0 which has lillypad 0.11 plugin, the pad (Logic 3) works and the 'test' shows it's receiving the pad controls loud and clear, however, I can not launch the game? I did have it working months ago but have since had a 'crash' and since reinstalling everything I fancied a go on Gradius V...but obviously something isn't right and wondered if anyone can help?

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

I managed to resolve it by manually entering the controls, dont know if this is the best way or right way to do it, but it got it working,
