Controller not working ingame Hype the time Quest

Hey there, 

I just got the latest version (1.7.3980) and started Hype The Time Quest. With the updated version the missing polygrams are fixed, but unfortunately i cannot get the controller to work?! I can map the buttons, it gets recognized and it works on the bios. But not ingame... No matter what i try

Found a thread from 8 years ago, but i cant change the plugins and i tried checking every single box. Doesnt work.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

Edit: The problem is permanent. It just doesnt work?! There seem to be multiple games and people with the same problem, but couldn't figure it out..

tools->enable file logging
then post the emulog again
