These games recognized my controller before, and PCSX2 itself still recognizes my controller and inputs. However, I then go into a game, and games that have messages that a Dualshock 2 isn't connected will have that message pop up still, such as Drakengard 2. Digital Devil Saga doesn't seem to have a message like that, but it doesn't read my inputs, either, and yet other games, such as Namco X Capcom, do read my inputs and recognize my controller. What's going on there? It was like this even before I just updated PCSX2 to the latest Dev build. What could make only some games recognize my controller, but not others?
I'll put a list here of games that do or don't respond for some strange reason, from the rather small list of games that I have on the emulator.

Tales of Legendia
Growlanser: Heritage of War
Growlanser Generations: Both disks recognize the controller.
Controller does NOT work:
Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga
Drakengard 2
Onimusha Warlords
