Edit Reason: Update
)
So I'm changing the controls for Ace Combat 5 in PCSX2 in the profile itself and saved the profile, however, the issue is that when I try to use "q" and "e" for yaw and some extra mouse buttons on my SteelSeries mouse for accelerate and decelerate it won't actually apply those changes and keeps "q" for accelerate and "e" for decelerate and the yaw is stuck to my mouse. And with WASD being the left joystick (and me not owning a compatible controller AT ALL means I have no choice but to stick with keyboard and mouse) it will make it VERY difficult for me to roll, and perform High G maneuvers when I would need to press both q and e plus one or two of the WASD keys all at once. Either "W" and "A", "W" and "D", "S" and "A", or "S" and "D" on top of both "Q" and "E". I did try changing the accelerate to shift and decelerate to control, but the game won't accept those changes either. It allowed the changes for "X" (DualShock controller "x") to be my left mouse click and "Circle" (DualShock controller) to be my right mouse click, and yaw was moved to my extra mouse buttons, but for some reason, it won't change the accelerate and decelerate off of q and e. Any help would be much appreciated. Also I am using the SteelSeries Rival 5 mouse and the front thumb button is set to F3 and I want that to be my accelerate and the top thumb button to be my decelerate while "Q" will be my yaw left, and "E" will be my yaw right. Thanks again.
The control changes that I want to make works with Ace Comabt Zero but not 5
