#1
Client used: Public Beta PCSX2 0.9.9 r4657

Specifications: 3326MB RAM (4GB), Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5770, Intel Pentium XII Xeon Processor (4 cores - each clocked at 2.33Ghz), Microsoft Windows XP Professional (32-bit)

CPU options: All options are default. No speedhacks used.

Plugins: GSdx 4643 (SSE4), LilyPad r4656, SPU-X r4619, cdvdGigaherz r4488.

Description: Will hang and then crash shortly after entering the game. Some graphical issues, but only while in hardware mode, so that is a GSdx issue.

Just looking at it, I would guess it is something wrong with the sound plugin, due to ">>>ERROR: SOUND_FreeSpotFXMemory" followed by "No memory allocated - so can not free anything". This happens at the very start of the game (when the producer's cutscene, Midway, pops up).

Edit: I just tried getting in again, and managed to fly a little bit (about 12 seconds) before it crashed again. The sky has the similar severe graphical glitch as the menus, but again most probably because I am on hardware mode.

Edit: I would also like to say that there are also some graphical issues on software mode. I'll get a video up.

Here's a video done using software rendering:

Despite the GIFTAG warning, I saw no difference between the SuperVU and MicroVU during testing.

This bug is still active. It crashes with 2 or 3 "Vif1 running when CHCR == 60000055" errors in the log.

The game also has a black bar near the bottom of the screen, this is present at all higher than native resolutions, even with the recent scaling fix. I accidentally discovered it's fixed by the hack I made for FlatOut: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Bug-Repor...#pid506240

And the "light beams" seen in the following screenshot seem like a core issue, as they're also present in software mode. They flicker and appear in several locations along the track.

@Flatout

can you provide a GS dump ? I'll try looking into the upscaling issue when I get some time.
