Corrupt audio in Amplitude

I'm getting corrupted audio in Amplitude. It's mostly the music (pretty vital obviously) and the narrator's voice in the tutorials but not the background music. The background music does start to get slightly corrupt if I set the latency in SPU2 lower than 30ms. No other games I've played (R&C, Sly Cooper, THUG, etc) have this sort of problem.

I've tried increasing the latency to 750ms to see if it would fix it without any improvement. Also tried Stereo (instead of 7.1), XAudio 2, DirectSound, Nearest, and Disable Effects Processing. Also tried Cyclerate increases even though I get pretty consistent 60fps without stutter regardless.

Update to 1.7 here: buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2

If you want 30ms lag (or less) you need to use portaudio as your output module. if you get no sound you will need to tick the "Exclusive mode" option under the configuration screen for the output module

This fixed both the Freq's polygons and the in-game music! Thanks!

Although the tutorial voice and the music previews are still static-y/glitchy. Not really too important though.

Getting 1.7 worked, and those PortAudio settings worked. Awesome, now I can play Amplitude. Thanks!
