Hi, Hope someone can help and now that theres a new debugger.
In this game all the under water levels have some sort of overlay of textures that flicker like crazy, eg level 7 theres some at the top left.
iv tried different settings/skipdraw etc but those dont work
changing to software mode works with removing those glitches but the game ends up very blurry and jagged edged
im playing the game with an iso
and using latest version of pcsx2
my pc specs are -
cpu - i7 4790k @4ghz
gpu - asus gtx 760 directcu ii oc
ram - 12gb ddr3 @ 1333mhz
psu - xfx pro 850w
i love all the crash bandicoot games and this one is almost perfect on this emulator

I don't think there is anything you can other than software mode.

Thanks for reply, i guess il just have to wait and hope one day it will get fixed
i noticed crash twinsanity has similar issue (fog over objects) but using skidraw 3 kind of fixes it in that game,
software mode was no go as game went very slow, that software mode really confuses me how some games it runs perfect speed but some games it runs crazy slow.
But yeah maybe now that Pcsx2 has picked up again and there's new people helping maybe this emulator might get somewhere now, bug/graphic fixes, speed fixes etc

Skipdraw = 4 will likely fix this. It did for me. 3 fixes it in TWOC mostly, except the water levels(where 4 is needed).

Note if it's like before though there are some later levels that you will need software mode on for a different reason.

Be careful though. When using skipdraw in this game to fix the fog/overlay issues, there are a few side effects. Outline boxes do not appear, and instead you miss them. Also gems lose their texture and are defined only by their glow.
I don't know about the full darkness bug with two of the levels in that game, it might still exist, but only SW rendering fixed that.

well did some testing,
The screen gets really bad (strange textures all over screen) to a point that you cant see anything on levels 17, 24, 26, basically the levels where it goes dark to represent no light
only fix is software mode for now
