Crash tag team racing crashes

Occurs any times, and to often to play.
This time, I've a gray rectangle on crash's body, just before pcsx2 crashes with this window log:

Is this with 1.6? Looking at your signature your system is quite old and won't work on nightlies as you point out.

By "old system" you mean "old hardware" ?
But yes, I'm stuck to V1.6 because of CPU incompatibility.
Maybe some will make a branch for old CPU without ssse3, with only performance loss?

For the game, I wonder if it's a know problem.
But that may be a wrong report, because I've don't noticed a selected option in video plugin (don't remember witch) and that maybe the cause of the problem!

i think it has been corrected long ago.
wasn't it caused by mtvu speechacks back in the 1.6 days ?
