Custom Shaders for GSdx

Anyway, just see the pics,

PCSX2/GSDX + native resolution,

SNIP

PCSX2/GSDX + 2x resolution,
SNIP

Also another precisely example, use GSDX plugin for ePSXe.

ePSXe/GSDX +  native resolution,
(since PSX native resolution only 240p, so the scanlines get more awful look than PS2 native resolution )
SNIP

ePSXe/GSDX +  2x resolution,
SNIP

ePSXe/GSDX +  4x resolution,
(now, only on 4x res, the scanlines actually look right.)

copy and paste these settings over the same settings in GSDX_FX_Settings.ini

Code:
//##[SCANLINES]
#define ScanlineType 0                     //[0|1|2] The type & orientation of the scanlines. 0 is x(horizontal), 1 is y(vertical), 2 is both(xy)
#define ScanlineScale 0.85                 //[0.20 to 2.00] The scaling & thickness of the scanlines. Changing this can help with PCSX2 IR scaling problems.
#define ScanlineIntensity 0.15             //[0.10 to 1.00] The intensity of the scanlines. Defaults: 0.18 for ScanlineType 0|1|2, 0.50 for ScanlineType 3.
#define ScanlineBrightness 1.85

I'm new to using external shaders with PCSX2. Is there a guide on how to use Timothy Lottes' CRT Shader?

There is no guide other than the comments in the shader configuration file.

For those interested, I updated my shader pack:

I'll add screenshots soon, I need to host them on good drive. Though I will saw seeing them in action looks much better than stills.

@hellbringer616

man i am jealous, if i waited 1 more year instead of just getting 6700k I could got the 8700k for same price and i really would have to worry about more game becoming more then 4 core aware.

Does reshade work with PCSX2 OGL? If so... I am switching to working with that Smile

It's a beast! I hear the 9700k will put this to shame though. 10nm 8c/16t

Reshade needs to hook/wrap iirc. I don't think it works with PCSX2 currently.

Thats what i gather from github, shame. GSDXFX is a very good suite, I can do some pretty decent stuff with it, but to truly make it shine i need multiple passes.
