D1 Grand Prix still not working
#1
Looked at the compatibility list, saw it ran on 0.9.9, jumped with joy and downloaded it. Still doesn't work! My specs:
AMD Phenom II X4 @ 3.2GHz
4 GB DDR3
GTX560
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

Tried with all renderers with and without speedhacks, no gamefixes. It works fine on the menus. Even on the driver selection screen the cars render fine, but when I try to race this happens:

The time counter works, I can hear all sound and music, the rev counter works too, the pause menu also works...but the game itself isn't working. It's the original japanese version, but the exact same happens in the american 2005 version, as they use the same engine.

Refraction put that it worked in the compatibility list, wonder what settings he used.

Yes, I have tried every single video mode. Software doesn't work.

Here's my emulog.txt, didn't see anything weird on it though.

I don't know but.. I saw that you had pcsx2 installed on program files, and I think it would work better if you reinstall it somewhere else.. for example in C:/.. But I don't really know if that plays any role in that issue though Unsure

Sorry, I don't have suggestions that might help, but I can assure you that changing the installation directory won't have any effect.

Try these:

1. Switch EE/IOP and VU Clamp modes to other settings available

2. Set VU0 and VU1 recompiler from microVU to superVU

I LOVE you! I messed with all those settings, it works with EE/IOP clamping mode set on Full. This didn't work in older versions of pcsx2, I'm very happy that they fixed it Laugh

Works beautifully: http://i45.tinypic.com/68bm85.png
