DBZ Budokai 3 Glitch?

So I have been playing DBZ Budokai 3 PAL and have reached Gogeta vs Gotenks. While plaing I noticed the time doesn't last forever and both of us defuse, this never happened to me before.

I've always played NTSC game and I'm playing the PAL game for the first time, is this supposed to happen in the PAL game or is the emulator glitching?

I also played the ntsc version, and I remember the characters have infinite fusion time. I don't know about this being a PAL problem, or an emulator one, although it is possible that it is a fail to trigger something pcsx2 issue, as I also experienced different weird bugs in god of war 2 as I played it with the emulator.
