So lately I've been trying to get DBZ Budokai 2 and 3 running on pcsx2,
the downside being that they're all too slow.
I find this a bit strange considering the Budokai games aren't
excactly graphic heavy, so i decided to ask here.
is my PC too low end for these types of games or should i keep trying?
I'm not excatly needing these games on PC,
i have my Capcom vs SNK 2, Melty Blood Actress Again, Kingdom Hearts 2
and Disgaea 2, and that's all i need.
still, it would be fun to have this on the fly too.

tried the common staf? speed hacks (using them 1 by 1 and finding what best), native res, clamp mode to none? disabling allow 8 bit's?

Yeah, all the standard stuff.
I heard that the Budokai games was pretty easy to emulate,
Kingdom Hearts 2 exceeded all expectations so i thought this would too.
Maybe I'm just missing something...

one of the reasons is that you have a laptop so this game will run slower than in a desktop, another reason is that i think this game isnt very optimized yet for the emulator,i dont think its easy to emulate though.Oh btw try enabling 8 bit textures if i recall correctly you shoulds have a nice speed up there ^^

Well then I think it's pretty obvious by now and from your own experience the thread is wrong.

Yeah, i guess.
Well, 47-50 fps isn't that bad,
so i guess it could still be considered easily playable (the keyword being playable).
