DISC or RIPPED ISO?

I'm running DW5 on my CD at 45-50FPS if i ripped my copy to my computer will I get more fps out of it? Smile thanks for the replies.

maybe a bit more.
it'll significantly reduce loading time, but ingame fps won't improve much, I'm affraid

It will reduce the loading times, probably won't translate into FPS gain but will be smoother.

you're likely to get a full 60 (if that's an NTSC copy) from an ISO, speeds do improve sometimes escpcially with games like this.

From my experience i received a huge performance boost when i ripped my games to my comp vs running from the drive.

actually, it depends on the drive and the disc quality. but its better to rip the games to preserve the disc....
