DS3 controller not working errors in emulog.txt

Hi I'm trying to get the DS3 controller working with PCSX2 but it just not working. I suspect I have that same issue that is listed in a post titled "Help! DS3 to PCSX2 Issue..." but don't want to download something sketchy. This seems to be supported according to jesalvein but I haven't managed to get it working. Below is my emulog.txt is anyone has any advice.
