Why does texmod only work with 0.9.8?

I was able to pound out what i needed in 6 hours yesterday with cheats and State saves, I extracted the model I needed.

Now I guess i can install the newest git version and play the game normally.

was going to make a new post but figured everything was already said here. i have the exact same problem as OP, no matter what i do i always get a corrupt save using 2 normal versions and the newest GIT build, any help?

do not use texmod and use stable 1.4.0 version since 0.9.8 sn't supported.

i tested on official versions 1.0.0, 1.4.0, and the newest GIT version v1.5.0-dev-732-g5ecbc28 and i tested using 8MB memory card as well as the folder type memory card, on 1.4.0 i tested using every MC type including 16/32MB etc. all versions were tested as newly installed copies of PCSX2, and everything works perfectly fine on a normal PS2
