Edit Reason: further testing
)
Hi, Been playing some of my old ps2 games and dark cloud 2 is giving me a problem with it's ghosting effect. The motion blur/ghosting is making me motion sick and wasn't an issue in say, dark cloud 1, surprisingly.
The game is being played on an file type .iso (not dvd) with PCSX2 1.6.0, all speedhacks disabled and default fresh install settings
RTX 3060 12GB
I5 6600k (4 Cores) @ 5.3 Ghz
32 Gigs DDR4
Both the game and pcsx2 are on a M.2 nvme SSD where my operating system resides
Windows 10
With turbo mode on, the issue subsides and the game is very crisp, but this speeds it up, messing with interlacing didn't help either, I pressed F5 quite a few times and moved around. Any ideas?
Thanks!
edit : I re-ripped dark cloud 1 to test, no issue with ghosting, so I have concluded that it isn't an issue with how I ripped my games. Maybe I can use Turbo mode and write a frame limiter script to reduce the ghosting. Or is there an open source solution to this?
