I don't think lack of sounds inhibits gameplay, I dont even have the sound on most of the time anyway Tongue2

It is ingame status when the patch makes it load. The missing sounds will probably cause a lockup at some point, as usual Tongue
Still need to know what the patch does exactly. If it's different from the NTSC-J patch we have, it could help making it work properly.
I believe that, the emulator crashes when tries to load the sound module from the 'MODULES' directory from the DVD/ISO.
Currently the emulator or maybe the sound plugin, unable to deal with the sound module. This is why when we enable the cheat/patch, then we don't get the sound-effects, menu sounds, etc. I hope one of the Programmers, fix it for the later releases. Smile
