Hmm, try running the game with MTVU off, if that doesn't work try putting the clamping (or Puristintila) down to one of the bottom two settings for both EE and VU until you find one that fixes it

According to here: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-SSX-SLUS-...hlight=SSX
If you set the EE rounding mode to "Nearest"/Lahin, that will sort most of the issues, give it a go. Might need the clamping on Extra+Preserve Sign as well. GameDB now updated as well, thanks for finding the error!

ok. i did give it a try but there's no change?
but i think it is faster with rounding mode set to nearest

I would guess you can't see the sun through the mountain if you press F9 to put it in software mode, would I be correct?

yes that's correct software mode repairs that.

So that's probably a Z-Ordering bug, you could try "Accurate Date" or "HW Depth" modes available on the latest development version of GSDX in OpenGL Hardware, that might fix it.

allright i'll check that
problem occurs with HW Depth & Accurate Date with 1.3.1-1070-ge2f1baf and newest git build v1.3.1-1274-g42a4c7d crashes before game starts ( i can go to menu but after i choose SSX it crashes)
