Devil May Cry 3 slowdowns problem in some locations

what !! i got 20% increase with the latest MTVU
and VU got me extra 10 FPS ( true not face )

Sorry, I have only tried the problematic mission - in THAT place there's no gain in the speed - 50FPS max
In other places I'm starting easily to get 100FPS

OK, you mean Cerberus - but do you mean fighting it? or after the fight in that room?
On that fight I'm getting 60FPS, without framelimiter 100FPS, so it's good. But the place right before the fight - not so good
Ok, for now it's not so bad - everything is working fine on 2x Native

fighting it you need to test your speed when there is a lot of movement by enemies and you

Edit: make sure you upgrade you graphic card it is old something like ATI 6850 will run most of the game 4x native

DMC3 really seems to be a wierd one... running at full 50FPS for me (PAL) with no speed hacks on at all... i turn on the recommended ones and in a high movement fight with a fairly high amount of enemies, my FPS drops to about 40-45... no change when putting EE on 2 and VU on 1 lol

though without speedhacks, the pause menu lags lol, though only the pause menu... go into, say, status.. and its back to 50 lol

It's the same for me - recommended speed hacks are sometimes giving me lower FPS in some fights/places

you have a stronger CPU than i, since i only have a Core2Duo @ 2.2Ghz, we both have 4GB RAM, and i have a stronger GPU, though not a much stronger one i dont think...

BTW, im going to do a quick run through mission 3 in window mode so i can watch my FPS better, and ill let you know how it turns out. Im playing with AA at 1 and in 2x Native

I have 8GB RAM and DDR3 by the way - you have DDR2 as I see in your signature.

LOL for me recommended speed hacks are giving me a decent boost i will post some screenshots

well i was basing it off your sig so i didnt know if yours was DDR2 or 3 (couldnt be assed to google lol), and although i know some 1GB cards are weaker than others, i still wouldve though it would be slightly better than a 512MB one lol
