The game keeps hanging on a cutscene before meeting Jinana in the center of her base. I'm running it on a Macbook Pro from late 2011 with a 2.0 GHz quad-core with an AMD Radeon 6400M. Any suggestions as to why it keeps hanging on that part.

Even with the EE timing hack it still hangs, also it has never done that before this part.

skip video fix then? lol, not sure, what version of pcsx2 are you using? Any speed hacks or anything?

Running 0.9.8 R4600 with no speedhacks, tried the skip video fix and it didn't do anything either.

Forgive me for going off-topic, is Digital Devil Saga good? saw it on the shelf the last time i was perusing Gaming Generations while i was getting some discs buffed+^_^+

Yeah, it's a great and unique series. Recommended if you like the core RPG formula with a dark touch

edit: Using 0.9.9 r5109 it still hangs at the same cutscene even if I use the EE timing hack and the skip mpeg hack.
