Digital Devil Saga keeps crashing

I heard this game had some issues running from the beginning, so I guess I should've listened but I'm towards the end of the story now and it crashes every couple of minutes, kinda making hard to actually play. Anybody have any ideas on settings I could change or something like that to make it playable again?

Never mind I think I figured it out, at least for now. Turns out turning on Turbo mode as soon as you load the save state increases the chances of it crashing
