yea probably it was some directx file that wasn't copied while doing the websetup (which can happen but doesn't happen with the redistributable)

sorry i have the same problem with the TS...i already updated my directX with the latest directX (03-28-09) and directx_aug2008_redist (extracted and run the setup)...help...what should i do?

Do i need to install Directx redist march08 instead i already install the newest one (aug08)?

Proc : intel core 2 duo 1.8GHz

RAM : 1 GB DDR2

But for the latest official release both should work just fine if I remember correctly.

I am having this same problem, I downloaded the Direct-X redistribution on the first link you mentioned..(LuisR14 post#17) but I didn't get the chance to install it because when I read the next page I realized that link was not the most recent. Also that Link gave me a bunch of rarfiles, now I'm still trying to install Directx redistribution from march 09 and whatever newer ones, but I'm getting windows validation errors, even though when scanned it says my windows is validated, and when I look this problem up can't seem to find the answers, I know it has nothing to do with the PCSX2 emulator just food for thought.

I got the rom to work thnx guys, now I just gotta fix the whats it' called... validation windows thingamabob.
