Direct3d 11 Crashing
#1
Started playing some ps2 games again lately, firstly everything is much improved since I last updated, just incredible, thank you so much for the work you all put in.

Now to the problem, whenever I try to use direct3d 11 mode, hw or sw doesn't matter game doesn't matter, it will crash immediately on booting iso. did some testing and it seems to be as of v1.7.0-dev-114-g210336d8c update. Opengl works fine and I'm ok with using it just from past experience d3d always had better performance.

Attached is emulog file if that helps.

windows error log as well

Quote:Operating System = Unsupported Operating System!

You're using windows 7, it is no longer supported in latest development builds.

If you must use it, you will need to copy the GSdx and SPU2-X from the 1.6.0 release for it to work.

The best option is for you to upgrade to windows 8.1 or later.

Thanks, thought that might be it but felt weird that it was only affecting that 1 aspect and not the plugin itself, with opengl selection working fine, or even whole program.

Would you please provide a bit more information on this topic? I'm stuck on windows 7 for many reasons. 1.7 doesn't have a plugins folder with the GSdx and SPU2-X files like 1.6 does. Where do I need to copy these files to within the 1.7 folder structure? Also, is there anything I need to delete or settings I need to change in 1.7 for it to see the 1.6 GS/SPU files?

Thank you very much in advance!
