I have a problem launching any games... When I try to start any game I am told I need to update my DirectX drivers.. I was using the latest DirectX 9.0c drivers that came with the game "Fallout 3" and still got that error message.. so I grabbed "DirectX10 XP" from the net and I am still getting the same error..
Here is my system specs
Toshiba Satellite A100-926
Windows XP Home SP3
Intel Core 2 T7200 @ 2.00GHZ
2GB Ram
512mb ATI Mobility Radeon X1600
I am using PCSX2 0.9.6
I have attached screengrabs of what my settings are set at
Can anyone please help me? Cheers
Specs:
CPU - AMD Phenom X4 9850 Black Edition Quad Core Socket AM2+ (940 pin) 2511.36mhz
MB - ASUSTek Crosshair II Formula Motherboard - nForce 780a SLI SPP (MCP Southbridge)
RAM - 8gb DDR2 Dual Channel Corsair PC2-6400
GFX - NVIDIA GeForce 8800GTS 512mb (I do have a 550GT TI 1GB)
OS - Windows 7 64bit/Fedora 13 KDE
If you have the newest DirectX then you'll have d3dx9_40.dll for DX9 and d3dx10_40.dll for DX10 in your C:\WINDOWS\system32
Those are the two files that GSdx requires to work

I just checked... I have
D3DX9_38.dll but no D3DX9_39.dll or D3DX9_40.dll
and I have
d3dx10_38.dll but no D3DX10_39.dll or D3DX10_40.dll
Cheers I will hunt around for those missing DirectX files
Thanx
Edit:
Nice one I installed them and now I can play Final Fantasy X2 Cheers!!!

Gonna have a look to see if I can find anything that mentions mesh/texture problems... also having a few video problems there now...
Final Fantasy X2's videos are all.. umm... "broken"... it seems ok BUT there are black lines going across the video scenes..
Resident Evil Code Veronica X.. the videos work fine BUT in game I am getting mesh/texture corruptions.. right at the start of the game the guy that lets you out of the cell.. his face looks like a zombies because the textures around his mouth are all messed up.. when static its fine.. but when things move it messes up..
I have a PS1 emulator that requires next to no configuration.. every game I have run on it runs no problems without having to change any settings.. shame I can't setup the PS2 emulator the same.. but hey.. newer console.. more complicated to script... *shrugs* I get that
