Directx 11
#1
I just downloaded PCSX2 and im trying to find a plug-in that supports directx 11 that is automatically installed on Windows 7. Every forum i've checked says that it should work the same as configuring it to directx 10 but i do that and keep getting a update your directx pop-up and then a crash to desktop.

Can anyone tell me what plug-in to use and how i should configure it?

I don't think DX11 is implemented yet. I think latest revisions of plugins just default DX11 as DX10.

DX11 is a very new API. The PCSX2 developers can't immediately support it.

Since you're on Windows 7, just use DX10. The developers have put a lot of great work into it, and it works great.

Gsdx is the only one afaik and as you said its basicly a buggy dx10 mode. The error you are getting is because you dont have the latest directx update. Its updated constantly having dx11 does not mean you automatticly have the latest. You can update it here.

You need to go to Microsoft's website, and update DirectX @ OP.

Google 'directx' and the second result will be how to web update DirectX.

Ok that was wierd. I had been trying to run that Directx updater from other threads and it was telling me it was already updated, I ran it a third time after reading these suggestions and it worked no problem, huh.

Well plug-ins are working now and emulating fine! Thank you!
