Disable wiki registration maybe for a bit again?

The increase in bots is quite notable again, and these invasions are currently always taking place when no mod/admin is around. Maybe close it down for a day or two like last time so that it simmers down a bit again. (Hopefully)

The wiki registration requirements should be increased or it will just continue like this.

I closed it off yesterday damn it -_- Flatout: It's already some very hard captcha, we think it's actual humans at this point

Isn't there a way to automatically (temporarily) block new useraccounts and disable registration if too many new accounts are created within a certain time limit. Most of these spam accounts where created within a span of several minutes.

Probably not... and the worst part is that you can't filter this stuff either, because there's all kinds of crap ascii characters all over the place to bypass any sort of protection you might put against the creation of certain pages. Annoying as hell.

And another spam wave occurring on the wiki. Ng was in the middle of it, but he stopped deleting the pages now it seems, or his bot froze up.
