It's a PCSX2 problem at the core but it may or may not show itself depending on GS plugin capabilities.
Thing is, I think I remember Jake saying that a proper fix is just too annoying to do Tongue2

It kinda makes sense the way it works.

You can program what Esc does, and the menu options of PCSX2--
But the X on a Windows' window is made to do something inherently.

It's like the GS window (or GS itself) more literally closes out from the standard Windows "Close" options.
With the Esc or Pause option of PCSX2,
it must somehow keep the GS window "open", or "active" in the background.
Kinda like it's minimized, but by special means with PCSX2.

Is there some way to flag the GS window as still active after it's closed manually...?

(Not prying for a solution; Just rambling my thoughts. Smile)

I had the same problem, but with the latest SVN releases it is gone.
