Does having a 6 core CPU help much for software mode?

No I really mean it. I very happy wth my CPU. Compilation of PCSX2 is blazing fast. It was a great investment.

You're question was "will a 6 core faster on mgs3" => my answer was likely no. For zoe2, I don't know. If the game uses a big internal resolution like snow engine games, I will say likely yes.

I don't think it does, but it was made by the same people as mgs3.
