Does pcsx2 slows input down?
#1
This is something i´ve been wondering for a long time. Blush
There are such parts of a game where you have to push a button in a fraction of a second. You have to be perfectly excact to get what you want.

Compared to the PS2 itself, does playing my game on my pc in pcsx2 slows this input down?
Not noticeable of course, i can play every game without experiencing delay.
But sometimes i have the feeling, that the input is (just a little little little) bit slower.

I´m playing with my ps2 Controller and this box which connects it to my USB Port.
. Win 7 Prof. 64bit .
. 8GB OCZ DDR3-1333 RAM .
. Zotac GTX 580 AMP .
. AMD Phenom x4 965 .
. 64GB OCZ MLC SSD .

PS: Forgive my english. I´m german. Unsure

Perhaps your adapter is causing a delay.

Does pcsx2 causing a delay in general, even if it`s just a fraction of a second?
If that´s the case, i would rather play these games which requires such a perfect timing on my ps2 instead.

I´m not that familiar with the technology behind all this...

A delay is noticeable if the emulator is running slow. but at full speed I don't notice a delay.
