Dot.Hack G.U. vol 1 rebirth too fast!!!

I just recently got pcsx2 1.0.0 and while attempting to play dot hack G.U. vol 1 i either get 30 or so fps or 110.

CPU: AMD Athalon II x4 3.00 GHz
RAM: 5 GB
Graphics Card: Radeon 5770

Bear with me not well versed in this program but i've tweaked everything i can think to fix it. Clamping the EE and VU as well as playing with the speedhacks. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I've wanted to finish this series for years.

bear with me man but not sure how to change the user hacks still trying to get the hang of the program.

Click config-emulation setting-GS-Unthick Disable frame limiter
