Double IP Problem

I hardcoded my Online settings so the network access goes online, though how do i make it were it does not interfere with my internet connection, so i can be playing online the ps2 emu, and play on the internet / Surf the web the same time. When i try to do it i get ip problems because the emu is using the ip. How do i fix?

Dont use the same IP as an existing machine on your network, that includes your PC. You are creating a "fake" network connection which should be different from the existing ones.

Well i tried putting in another ip address, though that dont work.

could you give a bit more information than "that dont work", it really isnt making it easy to help you. exact errors, configs etc would be nice.
