Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi 3 Settings for my Low Pc
#1
Hi, I'd like to play BT3 on my slow pc.
I've tried all types of settings but it is still not working Sad
I've PCSX2 0.9.8

My Pc Requirements are:
CPU<- Amd Sempron 3000+ 1,86 Ghz
RAM<- 1,5 Gb
GRAPHICS CARD<- Ati Radeon 128 Mb

The game goes good at start, but when the intro spot comes, it goes slow.
I've tried with Pal Version, and it is very bad (lag and sound). The Ntsc is quite good, but sound goes bad.

Unfortunately your CPU and GPU are just too slow for good PCSX2 emulation.
You can try to enable speedhacks, set your sound plugin to ZeroSPU2 (if possible), set the EE/VU clamp modes to "none", tick the "Native" and "Allow 8-bit textures" in GSdx graphics plugin and even use frameskip (shift+f4 while playing) but you may not get desired results unless you get a new PC.

Frameskip of 1, 2 if NTSC Version. Also, GPU is very slow for dbz bt 3. dbz bt 3 is a CPu and GPU Hungry game. Round Mode to nearest doesn't cause problems and is faster in NTSC Version.

I guess it is a laptop because the clock rate is low. My old laptop with a Sempron SI42 @ 2.1 Ghz can barely run anything -- even the most low demanding games are unplayable.

/to ShadowLady Why do you know his GPU is slow? What if he has a 6990 with 128 MB GDDR5 Tongue?

An ATI with 128 MB. Sounds real bad.Tongue2 I guess its 4GB.

Then he'd probably be using a single 128MB GDDR5 module or dual 64MB GDDR5 memory configuration (to my recollection and 6990 being a dual card) and that would be making for a 2x16-bit bus width for a total of 2x10GB/s memory bandwidth making it slower than a Radeon HD 5450 for PCSX2, so yeah... not likely Tongue2
