Is your laptop pluged into an outlet/is the power saving mode at "max performance" ?
I find DBZ BT3 to be pretty light game.
My experiences are the opposite. My crappy laptop (worse and older than yours) does 10-15 FPS in Budokai 3 and Infinite World while in Tenkaichi 3 it does 30-40 FPS.
