Dragon Quest V Issue ::.

Well, I've just downloaded and apply the patch to the ISO.

and Run the game,
it was okay at start of the game...
but I can't advance more into the game after Hero receive a map from his father.

"[Hero's Name] obtains mysterious map!"

and the game stopped at there.
the Text Box won't move to another one even after I've pressed all the button on my keyboard.
and of course there was nothing wrong with my keyboard settings.

So... any advice?
I've tested on both 0.9.6 and Beta version,
and I got same result.

Turn off all the speedhacks and try again.

If you downloaded the ISO you will get no support here since that is illegal.
Are you sure this is a PCSX2 issue and not a translation patch issue?

It is the exact same problem(http://forums.pcsx2.net/thread-12493.html ), and I didn't apply any patch when I tested the game. It is very likely the speed hacks(Either the EE sync hacks or INTC sync hack) causing it.

Uh... I make my own ISO from my own DQ5 disc, I only download the translation patch from the main site, apply the patch and the bugfixes, but still the game stopped at that point.

and How do I turn off all the speed hacks?
INTC can be disabled, but not for EE.

Sorry about my previous post.

Set EE sync hack default and uncheck everything else.

Or dudes, common. Did no one of you notice the constant screeching sound, and found it worthwhile to mention? Tongue2
I've been trying to reproduce that bug for a while, but of course not with the sound thread dead! Sigh Tongue2

Thanks, pcsx2fan.
